Once upon a time...
there was a girl that loved stories.

Growing up as neurodivergent, queer and Jewish kid, I always found refuge in fictional worlds where magic was real and bad people got what they deserved. In my daydreams, I had superpowers and was the chosen one in an ancient prophecy. It was stories that led me out of my own darkness and ever since, I've developed an insatiable craving for stories, whether made by it's spawned by my imagination or the imagination of others.

As a screenwriter, I write fantasy and science fiction (with a touch of comedy and romance) that explores beyond what is possible with strong themes of history, heritage and family woven throughout all. Shaped by shows like Supernatural and the Vampire Diaries, I explores mythos from all around the world, punctuated by complex characters with sharp, witty dialogue to make the audience laugh despite dark subject matter.

Growing up in a cult-like offshoot of Christianity and Judaism gave me obscure insight into organized religion and sparked a passion for psychology that I bring to my characters. Identity and representation are an important factors across all my stories as I spent a lifetime feeling alone as a neurodivergent, queer and Jewish kid that wasn’t allowed to be most of what she was in her cult-like upbringing.

In my novels, I write fantasy worlds that are marriages of magic and science, inspired by the steampunk genre, but with strong focuses on original folklore drawing from global cultures and the exploration of stories woven throughout worlds and time. As someone raised by the Marvel Cinematic Universe and comics, I unabashedly write within a multiverse with dozens of stories planned for the future.

I aspire to be a showrunner for one of my many fantasy/sci-fi shows ready for development in which the core casts are all underrepresented groups who are simply allowed to exist within their identities. Until then, I plan to learn as much as I can, writing daily and learning wherever I can, including my upcoming Bachelor of Arts program.
